One team, one goal
We are Jaume, Pau, and Eduard. We are individuals from diverse fields, with different paths and experiences. We have combined our talents with a common goal: to create a tool that helps teachers make their work less burdensome. We are passionate about challenges, and creating optimal learning groups for the teaching community has been the challenge that spurred us into action.

🧠 Pau, mathematician – The nervous system of OpTeams. He has designed the intelligent algorithm that generates balanced groups based on academic and social criteria.
🦾 Jaume, computer engineer – The locomotor system. He brings the platform to life, making it functional, agile, and accessible for all teachers.
👀 Eduard, STEM teacher – The senses. With his teaching experience, he identifies the needs of educators and translates them into practical functionalities.
Our mission
We are a team committed to education with a clear mission: to make it easier for teachers to manage a task as crucial as creating student groups that learn more and better. We understand that working with diverse students involves complex challenges and that the success of learning often depends on team dynamics. That’s why we want to be your allies, simplifying this essential part of teaching and helping you optimize your time.
The Origins: Can Llebre
OpTeams was born in an inspiring setting. In August 2024, we “locked ourselves away” at Can Llebre, a house surrounded by nature in Les Guilleries. Equipped with computers, ideas, and a lot of enthusiasm, we spent intense days coding and shaping what is now OpTeams. That experience not only solidified the project but also reaffirmed our belief: technology, when applied well, can be a great ally in improving education.
What drives us today
Can Llebre symbolizes the beginnings of OpTeams, but also the effort, dedication, and long hours of debate that have made this tool a reality. With nature as a backdrop and a common goal, we laid the foundations to offer a technological solution that helps teachers better manage their time and organization. Today, OpTeams is presented with the same enthusiasm with which it began, convinced that together we can transform the way classrooms are organized and thus contribute to improving the quality of education.

OpTeams is not just the result of the work of a team of three people. This project would not have been possible without the support of many others who have contributed—and continue to contribute—with valuable input: the teachers and educators who have tested the tool and given us ideas to improve it; Jan, who helped us optimize the algorithm; Anna, who offered us Can Llebre as a creative space; Oriol, who designed the logo and other graphic elements; Xavi, who guided us with his communication advice; and Miquel, who, with his managerial and entrepreneurial experience, helped us make key decisions for the development of the project.
